Through his hilariously inspiring presentation, you will be challenged to live a life that is more fun and fulfilling and to follow Jesus’ command to become more childlike, living life abundantly. Check out Jason’s ministry at www.KimandJason.com. Please join us at Pax Christi Church on Sunday, Jan. 29th 4:30pm for dinner and 5:30pm to hear this awesome and inspiring message. Ages 5-105 are welcome and encouraged to attend… that means youth, adults, singles, families, couples… everyone!

One of our initiatives over the next few years is to provide our parents, volunteers, and any interested adults with opportunities to enrich their own faith and relationship with Christ. We are excited to present our first ever workshop series for adults. Each workshop will be held at the Youth Center* on Tuesdays (7-8:30) during March. Below you’ll see the titles of each workshop… a teaser for what is to come: (stay tuned for more details)
March 6th Amongst the Thorns and Weeds: The State of our Young People & Families
March 13th I am the Vine, You are the Branches: Real Jesus, Real Disciples
*March 20th Remaining in Love: Prayer for Me, You, & Us
March 27th Bearing Good Fruit: Strong Families, Strong Children
The theme has been taken from the 15th chapter of St. John’s Gospel verses 1-17. We invite you to block these dates out on your calendars! Your very own Angie Slattery and Zach Rawson will be presenters. We are diligently working to make this series an opportunity for all adults to grow in faith and cultivate discipleship. Please feel free to begin to reflect on the scripture and pray that the Holy Spirit guides us as we put the finishing touches on this special event.
*This night of prayer will be held in the sanctuary of our Church.
The vision of Pax Christi Youth Ministry is to: empower young people to lives as disciples of Jesus Christ, draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community and foster their total personal and spiritual growth.
In the Spring of 2011, our Youth Ministry Board surveyed the parish to get a better understanding of their knowledge of Youth Ministry as well as their needs. As a result, they developed three initiatives to focus on over the next three years: improve in communicating what we do and why we are doing it, intentionally foster discipleship, and provide opportunities of leadership development. With your help, we can achieve these initiatives!
